Who we are
Journey International Ministry (JIM) is a Christian group for international students in University City, Philadelphia.
We recognize how hard it is for international students to study abroad in a new country, so we do our best to provide a home while you are away from home. For however long you are in Philadelphia, whether as an exchange student here for a few months or a PhD student of many years, we want to be a place where you can come, have fun, eat good food, and learn about who Jesus is. Every student is welcome!
Discussing questions about life
University life is a time where we grow up and we’re formed as people. We develop opinions and convictions, and try to find our path as people. Because we believe that there is more to life than good grades, money, and comfort, we like to discuss questions like: Does life have inherent purpose? How do we best love each other? How does God affect my life? Is it possible to know if any one religion is true? How, as people, can we support each other through life’s ups and downs?
